A Romanian company ordered a 10ton single beam overhead crane
Basic Information:
This client is from Romania.
They have a disused concrete plant that was built decades ago. They were considering installing a 10-ton single girder overhead crane directly on top of the existing building to help unload the goods, but due to the age of the concrete supports, there was insufficient load bearing capacity and a potential safety hazard.
And demolishing and rebuilding a new plant would increase the budget.

After talking to the client, we realized that the client wanted to save investment and install a high specification overhead travelling crane while ensuring safety.
The blueprints for the plant had been lost due to time. The client’s engineers could only hand-draw a drawing based on the data we needed, and marked out the location and installation space for the overhead travelling crane.
Technical Solution
Based on the data the client gave us, we suggested that we could build a free-standing crane inside the original concrete without having to tear it down and rebuild. This way, we could save the most money on the investment.
After a week of talking it over, the client agreed with the solution and the quote we offered.
